Movement Is a Mindset

I've been active my entire life — but somewhere in my 40s, fitness stopped being about performance and became about something harder to measure: longevity.

As a VP of Sales with two teenagers and a calendar that doesn't quit, the old approach doesn't scale. What scales is consistency. What works is simplicity. And what actually matters is showing up — especially on the days you'd rather not.

"The goal isn't to look like an athlete. It's to move like one well into your 50s, 60s, and beyond."

I'm not selling a program or coaching a class. I'm a mid-40s professional dad who's figured out what actually works when you have about 45 minutes and zero patience for excuses — including your own.

What's Working For Me

🏃

Zone 2 Cardio

30–45 min at a conversational pace, 3–4x per week. The most underrated longevity tool most people skip entirely.

🏋️

Strength Training

Lift heavy things at least twice a week. Bone density, muscle mass, posture, confidence — all in one.

😴

Protect Your Sleep

Every performance metric improves with quality sleep. Treat it like an asset, not an afterthought.

🧘

Recovery Is the Work

Mobility, walking, and intentional rest aren't optional add-ons — they're how the training sticks.

💧

The Boring Stuff

Hydration, protein, a consistent schedule. Not glamorous. That's exactly why they work.

Moving Forward for Kids with CMT

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is the most common inherited neurological disorder — affecting over 2.8 million people worldwide. It causes progressive muscle weakness, sensory loss, and mobility challenges. It hits kids especially hard.

KM4W donates a portion of every dollar earned to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) — the leading organization funding CMT research, supporting families, and giving kids the resources they deserve.

What is CMT?

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is a hereditary condition affecting the peripheral nervous system. Named after the three physicians who first described it in 1886, it disrupts motor and sensory function — particularly in the feet, legs, and hands — leading to progressive weakness and loss of sensation.

There is no cure — yet.

Researchers are making real progress. The CMTA's STAR (Strategy to Accelerate Research) program has identified multiple promising drug candidates currently in clinical trials. Every dollar helps accelerate the timeline.

Camps change lives.

For kids with CMT, specialized camps aren't just a summer activity — they're where kids finally meet others who understand what they're going through. That community matters as much as any medical breakthrough.

Why we give.

This is personal. CMT affects people in our lives, and the KM4W mission has always included giving back — not as a marketing line, but as a purpose. Everyone deserves the chance to Keep Moving 4Ward.
